Tar & Flowers Isn’t Just Country Music
It’s the whole gamut of American music: folk, rock, alternative, or simply the umbrella term “Americana.” But it’s also the songs, and the philosophy behind them, the experiences. It’s the darkness of Townes Van Zandt, the cosmic sentiment of The Flying Burrito Brothers and Honky Tonk spirit of Clint Black. All this comes together to create a sound you won’t soon forget.
The west isn’t a place or time but a state of mind, a state of being.
